Casper Canul has the job we all wish we had. After a relatively late start in Drifting, Canul has made quite a name for himself in a short time. A native Los Angeleno who is proud of his Mexican-American heritage, Canul got his start about three years ago at the age of 29. In his first year of professional competition he went head-to-head with Drifting whiz kid Ken Gushi, won the Meguiar’s Cleanest Drift Award Medallion, and grabbed the third place trophy at the Formula Drift season opener at Wall Speedway in New Jersey . Earlier this year, he took part in the first ever Drifting exhibition in Puerto Rico at the Carolina Speedway in San Juan . And now he’s landed Cooper Tire as his major sponsor going into the 2007 season.
