July 8 – Day 1 – Touchdown in Los Angeles

We finally arrived in LA. The team (Marcus, Jem, Ken, Jas) were here to experience drifting the Americano way. 1st Stop -FD Headquarters in Long Beach. Obviously, Jim (FD's Head Honcho) takes his job way too seriously! We were briefed on our roles and responsibilities for the weekend.

Had dinner at Marcus’s in-laws. Shared the dinner table with Marcus’s niece, Madi, who was very focused on her Cheerios. As always, the in-laws prepared an awesome spread of Vietnamese grub for us to chow down on. Just can’t get enuff of those Spring Rolls.

The guys’ s timeclock was all screwy, so after dinner decided to hit some Krispy Kreme and good ole Bud for supper. Nothing beats a midnite snack like donuts and beer! Gosh, just realized we already posted quite a few entries without a photo of a drifter or drift car.
